ATTENTION HEADER LOL: Sooo yeah. There's this stupid spam bot going around on dA using people's accounts to spam others. I haven't gotten any from anyone or even fell for those stupid tricks from that nasty bot. However, I've seen other people receiving these types of links I'd like to give out a few tips to the unknown. [Read more from the below]

Here are the tips that I promised from the attention grabber from the above.

created a very useful script that will automatically turn those spam links into just text, not a link itself. You can find the deviation and the link to it in its description here. [link]

I downloaded it myself and it's really helpful. Even though I'm aware of the situation I downloaded it anyways because I could slip my mouse and click on that link by accident (I know that sounds stupid but it has happened to me several times where I wanted to click on a certain link instead I clicked on something else of where I didn't want to go to). Who knows? I might be one of the first several victims that can get any type of spam links that wouldn't be very well known until it starts spreading around.

Hover over links, check them but DO NOT CLICK on them before proceeding: I mean seriously, it's not hard to do. If it's a suspicious looking link and that you don't trust it, then don't click on it. It's simple as that.

Use your resources: If enough people are stating that this certain link is bad (E.g: Porno, viruses...etc), don't click on the same link that they had to go through. x_X If it's a URL that's completely safe (E.g: Deviantart, youtube), then you are safe there.

Don't trust phony sites, EVER. If you end up at a page that looks just like an official site (In this case, let's say deviantART) but the URL is completely different from the real site, don't enter your account information or anything, get out of there IMMEDIATELY.
